Inspired by Iceland

The Reika Throw ("wander" in Icelandic) is minimalistic in design but rich in tone and style -- which is exactly how we'd describe Iceland. With a design inspired by Hallgrímskirkja, the Lutheran church, and centerpiece of Iceland's capital city, Reykjavik, this throw carries elements of Iceland's trap rocks, mountains, black sand beaches, and glaciers.

  • Colors: ivory/black or black/ivory/gold*
  • Size: 50"x 60" (size chart)
  • Materials: recycled cotton, recycled polyester
  • Pattern is one-sided with birdseye stitch on the back.
  • Care: machine wash cold/cool, tumble dry low/delicate, separately
  • Designed in Portland, Oregon. Made in the USA.

*Cotton/poly blends pill during normal wear. This pilling tends to show more on dark colors. Read more here.

Love These Blankets

I have purchased five of these blankets and they are all enjoyed. Instead of number of cheaper throw blankets, I hold off and purchase these. They are the perfect weight for year-round use, dog tested and always add a fun element to any room. I will keep adding these blankets to my house because I just love them so much!

Perfect Accent!

Our new throw looks absolutely gorgeous in our living room. It's adding a layer of pattern that our very old velvet sage Jonathan Adler couch really needed- a pick-me-up! The blanket is much thicker and functional than I expected- like the earlier commenter. I know we will be wrapping up on cold east coast days and nights this year! I also plan to wear it as a wrap. Excellent quality and design!

Wow!

The quality of this blanket is way beyond what I expected! The pictures do not do it justice. So happy with my purchase, the attention to detail in the way it was packaged down to its small tag that was held on by a lil gold safety pin. I appreciate things like that.
