Homeland Throw

$175.00

The Homeland Throw speaks to the heritage of the Navajo land. Native knitwear designer, Jennifer Berg, used the traditional diamond shape for the four sacred mountains: Blanca Peak to the east, Mount Taylor to the south, the San Francisco Peaks to the west, and Hesperus Peak to the north. Inside the diamond is Dinetah, which means “The Homeland.” The borders represent lightning, a sign of strength. Jen feels fortunate that she grew up on the reservation and wanted to share that experience with others through her design. This special throw honors the power and resiliency of the Navajo Nation, something Jen is particularly proud of.

In collaboration with Native American knitwear designer, Jennifer Berg, this throw is part of our Heritage Collection that honors the art, land, and people of the Navajo Nation. 10% of the net sales from this throw is donated to the  National American Indigenous Business Leaders.

Beautiful and wonderful warmth and comfort

I love these throws I own quite a few and have given many as gifts. The design is impeccable and their weight and feel is so utterly comforting. You will never regret the purchase.

This is the best compliment a small business owner could receive, Deborah! Thank you for each and every purchase. Truly appreciated. Jala....

I sought and now I swoon ( I hate this blanket)

What an exceptional blanket. My husband and I used to watch movies and tv shows but now, because of this soft, perfectly weighted blanket, he falls asleep every night! Thank you so much for ruining our tv time. Oh, it has to be gorgeous too. A typical mistress; beautiful and well put together. Clever, clever.
(on a serious note…I love our blankets!)

Xanthe, this gave my husband and I such a giggle! Thank you for the kind words, support, and humor. I love it all! Jala....

Giving the gift of envy!

I got this throw to give as a gift and I am very jealous that I have to hand it over--it's so beautiful! I know Jennifer Berg's work as a knitting designer, and I'm so excited to be able to support her work with Seek & Swoon as well. The blanket itself feels like it will be perfect for the warmer climate of my giftee. Someday I will buy one to keep!

Abbey, thank you so much for your kind words. Jennifer does beautiful work and I'm so grateful that I've had the opportunity to partner with her. And I love that you recognize that S&S throws are a great weight/feel for warmer climates, too. I hope your giftee loves their new blanket. Thank you for supporting my business. Jala....
